Holy Grail - Facial Routine

Good afternoon beauties!

So today I thought I would share with you all my holy grail of facial routine. Each night after washing, cleansing and toning I apply these two products in order to minimize spot redness, inflammation and blemishes. My skin type is very oily, uneven and I am prone to bad spots and more recently mild acne. A good facial routine is key to having healthy, hydrated skin. Sudocrem is used by many celebrities such as The Saturdays and Cheryl Cole, and of course the main target audience..babies! Sudocrem really does make a difference in my life as it dries and soothes the spots overnight as well as give my skin a lovely dewy glow in the morning.

Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream was created almost 80 years ago and has been used by millions of mums, dads and healthcare professionals ever since to treat the sore skin caused by nappy rash.
Sudocrem is clinically proven to help by soothing, healing and protecting your skin. Did you know that Sudocrem is not just a nappy rash cream? It can also be used to treat cuts and grazes, sunburn, minor burns, acne and bedsores. It’s a very useful pot to have around!  - Sudocrem website

Bio oil is another well known product, used mostly by pregnant women in order to keep those stretch marks away and by others to banish cellulite. By applying this product to those nasty red blemishes on my face, over the course of a few weeks, I have noticed a considerable change in them as they have gradually faded and become less prominent.

Bio‑Oil is a specialist skincare oil that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. It is also effective for aging and dehydrated skin - Bio-Oil Website

  1. I never thought to use Bio-Oil on my face- I have some red marks from old spots around my chin that I thought would take years to go or last forever, will definitely be getting some and giving this a go.
My skin is oily too, I've recently started using Cliniques moisturising gel for oily skin and have noticed a really big difference- I look a lot less greasy at the end of the day and my makeup is in place! So would say that's definitely my holy grail product at the moment :) xx

  2. I swear by Bio-oil, it really does make a huge difference, but be careful not to overload as it can leave your face feeling greasy! I haven't tried Cliniques products apart from the foundation but I will look more into it now, thanks for much for your recommendation & lovely comment!
