Deborah Lippmann - Razzle Dazzle

Hello beautiful ladies!

Apologies for my lack of posts, January is hectic for me right now, with all the deadlines, uni applications and family things going on, its been a total whirlwind!

So rewinding back to the December GlossyBox, where we all received a gorgeous burgundy nail varnish, from Deborah Lippmann called Razzle Dazzle. The colour is perfect for the A/W months, as it adds that bit of festive cheer to your outfit and brightens up any dull day! The formula wasn't completely opaque however it did take at least 2 coats to achieve a 'full on' covered look. Along with the lavender scented nail varnish remover mitt, it came off like a dream and unlike many nail varnishes, it didn't leave a nasty stain on my nails. I truly love this varnish and after using this beauty I definitely want more of them...valentines day...cough cough Dominic.

To view more of Deborah's collection then head on over to her site, where there are so many different varnishes - one for every outfit!

(please excuse my horrid nails)

Much love to all!

NOTD - Sparkles

Hello all !

I apologise for my lack of Blogging, due to family reasons and birthday I've been quite preoccupied. But I'm back and have lots and lots to share with you all!

It was my 18th on Friday and so for the momentous occasion I decided to pimp up my nails.
Models Own is a brand I had never tried until now, however reading lots of amazing reviews I knew I had to get my hands on some and add it to my ever-expanding nail varnish collection. Having read Holly's review on Pink Fizz I had made up my mind about which type of varnish I wanted.
I headed on over to ASOS, my favourite online retailer and had a quick look at the several Models Own varnishes. I immediately spied Disco Mix and fell head over heels with the bright, attracting colours. Luckily for me it was reduced to £4 and with an exclusive 10% off I had, it made the total price £3.60 inc P&P - bargain!!
I used the glitter varnish in two different ways - a simple everyday look and a party look. The glitter is is quite opaque which means it needs a good 2/3 coats to get full coverage.

NOTD - Gone a bit dotty!

Iya Girlies!

Just a quick shout out to a Blogging newbie Chelsea, cotton-sox.blogspot.com who has recently become a new fellow Beauty&Fashion Blogger. Please head on over to have a look and a follow!

Here are my nails today, fancied something different and thought why not jump onto the whole 'Spotty Nails' bandwagon! Used a kirby grip to do the dots, personally think it's turned out quite well. The base colour looks a lilacy colour but its really a grey with lilac undertones, damn you lighting! Also went for the 'Index a different colour' look and decided to use pink (Cancer awareness month! - Hope you're all sporting a bit of pink!)

NOTD - Stary Eyed

Aloha readers!

Short, natural nails meet my lovely readers - readers meet my short, natural nails. Good, intro - check. So the falsies have gone and are replaced by my au naturel ones. They look horrifically small and nasty but hey ho, that is the price you pay. I tried a stary night look, excuse the shabbiness!

Bonjour readers..

Voila! Here are my nails for today. I fancied something different for a change and decided to use my Ebay nails. I got 500 pieces in 10 different sizes for £1.58 inc P&P. Yet another bargain, hurray! I cut and filed them down to my chosen length then used nail glue.

NOTD - Tutti Fruity

Hey Bloggers!

so here are my juicy nails today.. I fancied something new and vibrant and turned to my trusty fimo pieces! They were only 99p from ebay for 500 hundred pieces of various fruits, strawberries, melons, applies, cherries and sooo many more! They did the mick to arrive but it was well worth the wait and I love them. There's plenty of tutorials on good old Youtube on how to apply them etc so I wont bore you with all the details! Teamed with this summers favourite colour, coral, I think my MUA varnish was a bargain.

Hey lovelies, after seeing so many different nail designs and being introduced to WAH nails (seriously amazed!), I thought I would give my own talons a much needed make-over and attention. Usually I'm a nibbler, whenever I get nervous or bored my poor nails are the ones I take it out on. However after seeing the wonderful nail art you can create with just a few simple tricks, products and utensils I promised myself to take better care and so with that, here I am proudly showing off my (not-the-best) nail art.

What do you think for a first-timer? Send me links to your nail art!
